About Modern Millionaire

A bold name, a deliberately modest mission.

We explain personal finance fundamentals honestly, without shortcuts or promises. That's the entire mission — no products attached.

Our story

Started as a reaction to "get rich quick" content.

Modern Millionaire began in Zurich as a side project among finance writers who kept encountering the same pattern online: bold titles promising fast wealth, followed by vague advice, a course, or a subscription. We picked a similarly bold name on purpose, then filled it with the opposite of what that kind of content usually delivers.

We wanted a place that explains the actual mechanics of building financial stability, patiently, without pretending there's a trick nobody else has found.

What guides us

Three principles behind everything we publish.

Always free

Every guide on this site is free to read and will stay that way. We do not gate content behind sign-ups or paid tiers.

Information, not promises

We explain general concepts and mechanics. We never promise specific outcomes, timelines or amounts, because we can't know your situation.

No hidden incentives

Modern Millionaire does not accept sponsorships from lenders, brokers or financial product companies. Nothing here is paid placement.

Based in Switzerland

Working out of Zurich, writing for a wider audience.

Our editorial team is based in Zurich, Switzerland. While some examples reflect the Swiss context, the fundamentals we write about — patience, stability before growth, skepticism of shortcuts — apply broadly, and we keep terminology general wherever we can.

If something reads as specific to one country's system, we try to flag it clearly within the article itself.

A note on scope: Modern Millionaire does not offer paid services of any kind, does not manage money on anyone's behalf, and does not provide licensed financial, legal or tax advice. Nothing on this site promises or implies any specific financial outcome. Everything published here is general education. For decisions specific to your situation, speak with a qualified, licensed professional.
